The Catalyst Holding Group team consists of individuals with an international professional and educational background located in Poland and in the United States. Their work, experience and devotion to work with start up ventures is crucial for the success of the early stage companies.
Maciej Wilhelm is a General Partner and Co-Founder of the Catalyst Holding Group. Mr. Wilhelm has extensive business experience as a Financial Advisor, residential real estate developer, and as an entrepreneur in developing new business concepts and soliciting venture capital. He has been successfully involved in working with start-ups companies in Poland for the last four years.
Mr. Wilhelm believes that smart investment expands beyond financial means and embraces people. His philosophy is that the human element is the fundamental catalyst of success. This philosophy is reflected in the number of venture projects developed by the Catalyst Holding Group.
Ilona Piwko-Guzman is a Principal at the Catalyst Holding Group. Ms. Piwko has been working as a consultant and project manager in various professional environments ranging from corporations to governmental and public institutions. In 2005 Ms. Piwko created her own company Utive Inc. that has been partially acquired by Catalyst Holding Group in early 2009. In 2008 Ms. Piwko created, a Chicago-based business organization, the International Business Club.
Ms. Piwko holds MA degree of Political Sciences from Warsaw University along with MBA from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. She has been also studying the European Studies at the European Institute of l'Universite de Bruxelles in Belgium.
Her extensive international experience and deep understanding of the start-ups' creation process is a great asset to the companies that are being developed by the Catalyst Holding Group.
Slawomir Zawadzki is a Principal of Catalyst Holding Group in Poland. While working as a computer specialist for DC S.A. Grupa Computer Plus, a Microsoft Gold Star Partner, he has garnered a significant technological experience. Mr. Zawadzki has been also working as a Project Manager for Cama-Soft sp. z o.o, which utilized his expertise in creation of its software for cash flow optimization.
He holds a Master degree in Business Management from College of Technology in Gdansk, (Politechnika Gdanska).
Mr. Zawadzki brings to the Catalyst Holding Group a great experience in management and development technology based projects.
Artur Gronus is the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Catalyst Holding Group. Mr. Gronus, who joined the team in 2009, markets and manages various projects developed within Utive Inc., an advertising and consulting agency, as well as within promotional agencies- Utive Models Agency and Be53, each of which he is the Creative Director and Project Manager.
Mr. Gronus had received his primary business education in Krakow, Poland, and completed his BA in Management and Marketing at the National Louis University in Nowy Sacz.
Boguslaw SzednyBoguslaw Szedny joined Catalyst Holding Group in 2009 as an Entrepreneur in Residence. Being the Public Relations Director of Be53 Promotional Agency and Utive Inc., Mr. Szedny brings to the Catalyst Holding Group a great deal of knowledge about building a public awareness in online and off line environments. He also has extensive media experience acquired while working for Polish Public TV, TV Polonia, and the like.
Mr. Szedny holds a Masters of Science in Environment Engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology.
